Vilas Pawar is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in prestigious companies. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Mastercard since July 2019, Vilas has progressed through various roles, including Analyst II, Analyst I, and Associate Analyst. Prior to Mastercard, Vilas worked at Barclays as an Assistant Manager in Security Control Response and at Credit Suisse as a Command Center Officer. Early career experience includes roles at IBM as a Senior Emergency Response Officer and Emergency Response Officer. Academically, Vilas is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Charles Sturt University, with previous degrees in Master of Computer Applications and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Pune University.
