Samantha Baker is a Cyber Security Engineer at MassLight since February 2021, where responsibilities include developing security alerts and leveraging Machine Learning for data behavior prediction. Additionally, as a Security Architect and Compliance Officer for the EHR startup Oystehr, Samantha focuses on securing infrastructure and compliance for SOC 2 and ONC certifications. In the educational field, Samantha has served as an Instructor for Michigan State University and a Teaching Assistant for edX's cybersecurity BootCamp, instructing students in various cybersecurity domains. Previous experience includes roles at RIT Tech Crew, an internship with Aruba as a Wireless Software Security Intern, and teaching programming to middle school students at Mercy High School Burlingame. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing Security from the Rochester Institute of Technology, completed in 2020.
