Tara Ponitz currently serves as a Project Engineer at Massaro Construction Group, a position held since August 2022. Previously, from January 2021 to August 2022, Tara worked as a Design/Build Co-Op at Al. Neyer, where responsibilities included supporting Project Managers and Superintendents on various construction projects, as well as writing Statements of Work, Requests for Proposals, and contracts for significant industrial warehouses. In addition to industry experience, Tara has been actively involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) at the University of Pittsburgh, serving as Secretary and Webmaster, and as Co-Chair for E-Week. Earlier experience includes an accounting internship at Palace Entertainment and roles in event marketing and public relations. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering, earned in 2022.
