Bruce Alves is a dedicated public safety professional with extensive experience in emergency response and hazardous materials management. Currently serving as a Hazmat Technician with the Massachusetts Urban Search and Rescue Team (FEMA) since September 2022, Bruce previously worked as a Firefighter/EMT for the Fall River Fire Department starting in October 2010, where responsibilities included responding to emergencies such as structure fires and medical incidents. Prior to these roles, Bruce spent over a decade as a Facilities Service Worker at Corrigan Mental Health Center, focusing on the maintenance of facility operations and handling hazardous waste. Bruce Alves holds educational credentials from Waldorf University.
