Ashley K. Carvalho currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel at the Massachusetts Port Authority since January 2017, previously holding the position of Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Corporation Counsel at the City of Boston Law Department, providing legal advice to various city departments from January 2015 to December 2016, and as a Staff Attorney with the Committee for Public Counsel Services, representing clients in civil commitment cases from October 2011 to January 2015. Ashley began legal career as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office and has also worked as a Legal Clerk for the Department of Commerce and as a Legal Intern with the Broadcasting Board of Governors. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Government with a minor in Criminal Justice from Campbell University.
