Hawkar Rafiq is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Salahaddin University-Erbil, obtained between 2007 and 2012. Since March 2013, Hawkar has been working at Mass Group Holding Ltd. as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on the operation of gas turbines and serving as a Mechanical Site Engineer for the erection of a combined cycle power station. Prior to this, from September 2012 to March 2013, Hawkar worked at Halabja Group, contributing to the Garden City Project by installing water, gas, fire-fighting piping, and air conditioning systems in a multi-story building.
