Sunny Kung currently serves as the Medical Director at Mass General Brigham's Merrimack Valley Bridge Clinic, where responsibilities include managing an outpatient addiction medicine practice and serving as a primary care physician at Pentucket Medical. Previous roles include Addiction Medicine Clinical Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, where Sunny contributed to community health initiatives and received recognition as a Yale REACH Fellow. Residency training at Brigham and Women's Hospital involved leadership in racial justice and health equity, alongside various quality improvement projects. Sunny holds an M.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Early research experiences include coordination of studies in clinical settings and contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
