Kostas Michalopoulos is a seasoned algorithm engineer currently working at Masimo since January 2020, with previous roles including Algorithm Engineer at etectRx and Embedded Systems Engineer. Earlier experience encompasses positions as Research Engineer at Convergent Engineering Inc., Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Rochester, and Graduate Research Assistant at Wright State University and Technical University of Crete, where significant contributions were made to projects involving EEG component analysis and software development. Kostas holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Wright State University, as well as a Master of Engineering and an Engineer's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Technical University of Crete. Additional experience includes teaching assistant roles and contributions to the DASTA project and other research initiatives.
