Senior Risk Director at Mashang Consumer Finance

Lei Liu has extensive work experience in risk management and anti-fraud roles.

From 2018 to present, Lei Liu worked as a Senior Risk Director at Mashang Consumer Finance, where they were responsible for the anti-fraud department, including model, strategy, and investigation.

From 2017 to 2018, Lei Liu served as a Risk-VP at HengChang, focusing on car loan risk policy, strategy, and operations.

In 2017, Lei Liu worked at Formax as the GM of the Anti-fraud & Collections Department, as well as the CRO of Consumer Finance. lei'sresponsibilities included developing policies and strategies for anti-fraud and collections in the used car finance and cash loan sectors.

From 2015 to 2017, Lei Liu was the GM of the Antifraud & Collections Department at 美利金融, where they established and enhanced anti-fraud policy and strategy, managed the anti-fraud investigation and security teams, and oversaw early warning and collection policy and strategy.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, Lei Liu served as the Head of Anti-fraud and Collections at Fullerton Credit, responsible for generating policies, strategies, and procedures for post loan management and implementing effective solutions for potential delinquent customers.

From 2011 to 2013, Lei Liu held the position of Country Fraud Head at Citibank (China) Co., where they were responsible for anti-fraud business across various consumer products and managed a team of approximately 20 colleagues.

Lei Liu began their career in 1997 as a loan officer in the sales department of Xuchang Branch, Agricultural Development Bank of China. lei has since held various roles in banking, including counter service staff at Bank of Communications and staff in the Personal Finance Department at Bank of Communications, Zhengzhou Branch.

Overall, Lei Liu has extensive experience in risk management, anti-fraud, and collections across multiple industries and has held leadership roles in policy, strategy, and team management.

Lei Liu pursued their education starting from 1993 until 1997 at the Central University of Finance and Economics, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. After working for a few years, they then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Accountancy from the Research Institute for Fiscal Science under the Ministry of Finance in the People's Republic of China. This degree was completed between the years 2001 and 2005.
