Neeraj Kumar Nishad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Neeraj Kumar started their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys in 2004 and worked there until 2007. Neeraj Kumar then interned at ING Investment Management in 2008. Following this, Neeraj worked at Union Bank of India as Senior Manager in Corporate Advisory Services from 2009 to 2010.
In 2010, Neeraj joined Synergy Consulting Inc as a Consultant and worked there until 2013. Neeraj Kumar then transitioned to ACWA Power, where they held various roles in Acquisitions and Project Finance. Neeraj Kumar began as an Associate in Corporate Planning and Strategy from 2013 to 2015, before progressing to Manager, Senior Manager, and eventually Executive Manager in Acquisitions and Project Finance until mid-2021.
Currently, Neeraj is employed at Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) as the Head of Bids (New Markets) starting from 2021. Prior to this position, they served as a Senior Manager in Bids department from 2021 to 2023, leading the development activities of renewable opportunities and playing a crucial role in negotiation, execution, and successful submission of bid proposals. Neeraj has also been instrumental in the development of the first Waste to Energy plant, involving negotiations with various stakeholders.
Throughout their career, Neeraj has demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, risk analysis, negotiation, and contract review. Neeraj Kumar has successfully raised significant financing for various projects and has been involved in greenfield development initiatives. Neeraj's work experience highlights their ability to lead multi-functional teams and drive successful outcomes.
Neeraj Kumar Nishad completed their B.Tech degree in Electronics from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur from 2000 to 2004. Neeraj Kumar then pursued a PGDM degree in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, graduating in 2009. Neeraj also obtained the CFA Level II Candidate designation from the CFA Institute, USA in the field of Accounting and Finance in 2009. In 2019, they attended Harvard Business School for a course in Negotiation Mastery. Prior to their higher education, they studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Greenfields Public School from 1985 to 2000.
