Dzene Makhwade-Seboni's work experience includes various roles in prominent companies. Dzene started their career in 1993 as a Market Development Manager at Kgalagadi Breweries Limited. Dzene then worked as a Territory Manager for The Coca-Cola Company from 1997 to 2000. In 2002, they joined Barclays Bank Botswana as a Marketing Manager. Dzene later moved to Stanbic Bank Botswana, where they worked as a Manager of Marketing and then as a Manager of Sales and Services. In 2006, they joined Mascom Wireless as the Chief Marketing Officer and eventually took on the roles of Acting Chief Operations Officer and Chief Operations Officer. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Mascom Wireless.
Dzene Makhwade-Seboni completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Harvard University from 1989 to 1993. Dzene then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Marketing at the Institute of Marketing and Management, which they successfully obtained from 1994 to 1997. In 2001, they attended the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town for their Master of Business Administration (MBA), although the field of study for their MBA program was not specified.
In addition to their formal education, Dzene Makhwade-Seboni also obtained a certification in "Leading Change and Organizational Renewal" from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in November 2020.
