Uwe Seltsam has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of technical service and troubleshooting. Uwe started their career in 1997 as a Customer Service Technician at Siemens Elektrogeräte GmbH before transitioning to Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen in 1998, where they worked as a Service Technician. In 2004, they became a Troubleshooting Clerk at Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen and later progressed to the position of Group Leader Troubleshooting in 2011. From 2014 to 2020, they served as the Head of Technical Service at the same company. Currently, Uwe Seltsam holds the role of Head of Global Execution & Product Services at Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen, a position they assumed in January 2021.

Uwe Seltsam obtained their Fachabitur in Technik from Städtische Berufsoberschule Regensburg in 2000. Later, from 2000 to 2004, they attended Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, where they pursued a degree in Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Electrical Engineering with a specialization in microelectronics. Additionally, Uwe completed an apprenticeship in Energy Electronics Technician, specializing in Plant Engineering, at Siemens AG in Regensburg from 1993 to 1997.
