Kelia Olughu, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Program Manager for Perinatal & Family Health at Mary's Center since February 2023. Concurrently, Kelia is engaged as a researcher with the Community Based Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (cbPrEP) Intervention and the HIV Self-Testing Education and Promotion+ (STEP+) Project. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Specialist at the Center for Community Resilience and a Qualitative Research Assistant at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Kelia has also worked as a Medical Officer at the Primary Health Care Center in Nigeria and as an intern in Sexual & Reproductive Health at HACEY's Health Initiative. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Health specializing in Global Health Program Design from The George Washington University, a certificate in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Lagos. Kelia’s background includes managing diverse medical cases and a commitment to advocacy through writing on issues such as child sexual abuse and mental health.
