Mark Potter has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Mark started their career at Archbishop Curley High School in 1984, where they served as the Vice President for Institutional Advancement/Teacher until 2001. From 2001 to 2011, they worked as the Executive Director at the Basilica of the Assumption Historic Trust, Inc. In 2011, they joined the Maryland Science Center, initially as the Vice President of Development, and later became the President & CEO in 2017.
Mark Potter earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, specializing in History, from Towson University in the years 1980 to 1984. Mark then pursued a Master's of Education in Administration from the same institution, completing it from 1988 to 1991.
