Diane Colburn, MS, CVRT, currently serves as the Director of Statewide Services at The Maryland School for the Blind since February 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Program Services Supervisor and Early Intervention Specialist/Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist at Lighthouse of SWFL from December 2011 to February 2022, and Transition Coordinator at the same organization from October 2009 to October 2010. Previous positions also include Vision Rehabilitation Therapist at the Center for the Visually Impaired (October 2007 - October 2009) and Coordinator of Home-Based Supports at Seven Hills Foundation (February 2003 - August 2007). Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Vision Rehabilitation from Salus University, an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Fund Development from the University of Notre Dame, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations from Suffolk University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Education from Germanna Community College.
