Dean Vaccher is a seasoned broadcast engineer and audio professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as a Senior Broadcast Engineer at Maryland Public Television since May 2023, Dean previously maintained facilities and equipment for the Pennsylvania Cable Network, ensuring high-quality audio and video. As an independent audio engineer, Dean designed and operated a top-tier recording facility while also working as a field mixer for television and feature films. Dean's background includes roles as a sound recordist for A&E, network administrator for the FCC, and senior network analyst at Verizon Wireless, showcasing a blend of technical expertise and creative talent in sound and broadcast engineering. Dean is also a dedicated bass player, contributing to various musical endeavors since 1984. Dean holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
