Matt Peterson currently holds the position of Corporate and Community Relations at Maryland Aviation Administration, having started in January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Legislative Assistant at the Baltimore Jewish Council and as a Congressional Relations Specialist at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Matt Peterson also held roles such as Deputy Field Director for Elect Jon Cardin, where responsibilities included planning and assisting with a state-wide field operation for a Maryland Attorney General campaign, and a Legislative Intern with the Maryland General Assembly. Earlier, Matt Peterson interned at the U.S. House of Representatives in Timonium, Maryland. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Towson University, completed in 2015, along with a minor in Geography and Environmental Planning.
