Jamie Wiesner serves as the Sustainability Programs Administrator at Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative since August 2023, focusing on the cooperative's sustainability initiatives for 2050. Previously, Jamie evaluated grant applications for a significant climate funding competition at the US Environmental Protection Agency and served on the Board of Directors for Friends of Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary, Inc., chairing the Communications Committee. Jamie's consulting experience with SOM Group involved communication and sustainability projects for various industries and government entities, while earlier roles included environmental programs with the City of Laurel, MD, and project management with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Jamie holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Frostburg State University.
