Alan E. George, FACHE, CPPS is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in hospital leadership roles. Currently serving as President of Mary Immaculate Hospital since June 2023, Alan has a rich background that includes positions as Hospital CEO and COO at LifePoint Health® / Scion Health from November 2010 to June 2023, and as CEO at Blackhawk Healthcare and Sunlink Health Systems in the late 2000s. Alan's earlier career included CEO roles at Health Management Associates, Inc. and Quorum Health Resources. Alan holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Care Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University.
