Anja Katharina Schuster has worked in a variety of roles since 2014, starting as a working student at Estion Technologies GmbH. In 2016, they became a research associate (postdoc) at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), where they worked on dynamic warm dense matter research with HIBEF and played a key role in laboratory astrophysics experiments at international laser facilities. During this time, they were also responsible for the design, testing, and analysis of recovery systems for experiments, utilizing methods such as optical microscopy, electron microscopy, and chemical extraction procedures. Schuster currently works as a scientist at Marvel Fusion, a position they started in 2022.
Anja Katharina Schuster began their education by studying Physics at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in 2013. During their time at the university, Schuster also completed a human performance in space department 'Solar Max' team project with the International Space University in 2013. Schuster then pursued a Master of Science in Physics from Technische Universität Darmstadt between 2013 and 2016. Additionally, Schuster conducted a research project at the University of California, Berkeley in the search of extra neutrino generation - sterile neutrinos between an unspecified start date and 2014. Finally, from 2016 to 2021, Schuster attended Technische Universität Dresden, where they earned a PhD in Physics with a field of study in Physik. No additional certifications were obtained by Schuster.
