Jeff Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Jeff currently works at Martin Marietta as the Director of Engineering since August 2023. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Sr. Mgr, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Manager, and Sr. Electrical Engineer at the same company between June 2016 and August 2023. Before joining Martin Marietta, Jeff worked at U.S. Silica Company, where they served as the Corporate Engineering Project Manager from April 2014 to March 2016. Jeff also held the position of Project Engineer from December 2011 to April 2014 and Plant Engineer from April 2010 to December 2011 at the same company. Prior to U.S. Silica Company, they worked at Hobgood Electric as a Field Service Technician from 2000 to 2004 and at Electrical Maintenance Technicians Inc. as an Electrical Controls Supervisor from 1998 to 2000.

Jeff Jones obtained an Associate of Science in Industrial Electronics Technology from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in 1996. Jeff then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2009. In 2011, they completed a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the same university. Jeff further pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Campbell University in 2020. In addition to their degrees, they have also completed several certification courses in various fields, including project management and effective leadership.
