Alejandra H Medel is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as a Regional Finance Manager and formerly as a Senior Accountant at Martin Marietta since July 2017, Alejandra collaborates on budgetary planning and prepares SOX-level reconciliations and reports. Previous roles include Accountant and Associate Accountant at the Internal Revenue Service, as well as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant and Student Intern at the University of Mount Olive, where contributions included developing a business plan for a new Banking and Finance major. Alejandra also served as a Supplemental Instructor for Accounting and Spanish at the University of Mount Olive, aiding student comprehension of course content. Alejandra holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management and Accounting from the University of Mount Olive.
