Chris Schmelzer has extensive experience at Martin Engineering, where Chris has held various leadership roles since 2004. Currently serving as the Director of Conveyor Products, Chris manages a multi-million dollar equipment and aftermarket parts and service business, leading a diverse team of 62 professionals. Previous positions include Director of Business Group – Wear Components, where Chris oversaw another multi-million dollar aftermarket business and mentored a team of 28. Chris has also excelled in strategic roles, including Director of Strategy & Development, promoting lean business processes and successfully restructuring a failing IT program. With a strong educational background, including an MBA with a focus on marketing, supply chain management, and international business, along with multiple professional development certificates, Chris is well-equipped to drive product development and business success.
