People Partner at Marshmallow

Charlotte Brierley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Charlotte is currently the Head of Talent at Marshmallow, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the People Ops Lead at Marshmallow from November 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Marshmallow, Charlotte worked at Fire Tech as the Head of People from April 2021 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for building the People function, creating the Talent strategy, and fostering a strong work culture for the 250+ workforce. Charlotte also held the position of Senior People and Talent Manager at Fire Tech from April 2020 to April 2021, where they played a key role in the growth and expansion of the EdTech start-up. Additionally, Charlotte worked as the HR & Business Manager at Fire Tech from November 2016 to April 2020.

Prior to their time at Fire Tech, Charlotte served as a Dispensary Technician & Office Administrator at Ballina Chemmart Pharmacy from December 2011 to September 2016.

Overall, Charlotte Brierley has a strong background in talent management, people operations, and HR, with experience in both start-up and corporate environments.

Charlotte Brierley completed their education with the following qualifications:

- From 2020 to 2022, they attended Watson Martin and earned a CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HR, specializing in Human Resources Development.

- Between 2009 and 2016, Charlotte studied at The University of Queensland and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA). Charlotte'sdegree encompassed studies in Religion, Linguistics, Anthropology, and Biomedical Science.

- In 2018, they took a course called "Finance for Non-Financial Executives" at Cass Business School.

- Charlotte also participated in a Summer Intensive HTML5 & CSS program offered by Code First: Girls in 2017.

- Charlotte completed their high school education at Trinity Catholic College Lismore, receiving a High School Certificate from 2002 to 2007.
