Marianne Parkinson joined MarshBerry in 2019 as Chief Marketing Officer. Her responsibilities include leading the strategy and implementation of marketing, communications, and branding initiatives that share the story of how they can help clients achieve their fullest business potential. Marianne works closely with leaders across the company to understand market trends and client needs, and to create and deliver strategic thought leadership, products, services, and experiences that help clients learn, improve and realize their value.
Prior to MarshBerry, Marianne worked at Constant Aviation as the VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy, where she was responsible for leading all marketing strategy, digital strategy, PR, branding, trade shows, and events, and campaign management in the private aviation sector. She possesses a blend of analytical and creative expertise and is an astute marketer and an energetic brand evangelist. She believes all purchases, tangible and intangible, have an emotional component at various stages across the lifecycle. She is passionate about translating qualitative and quantitative data into insights to shape experiences that form a relationship and emotional connection with clients that ultimately influence the perceived value of a product or company.
Marianne has more than 25 years of experience in financial services marketing focused on retail banking, investments, and insurance. Previous roles with GE, USAA, Harte-Hanks, and others enabled her to design and build agile internal marketing resource teams, formulate the vision and delivery of digital transformation, create and implement client-centric initiatives, leverage data analysis and predictive modeling for research and product development and transform the role of marketing to a strategic thought partner in the business.
Marianne graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal and Public Communications. Outside of the office, Marianne serves as a Board Trustee for Old Trail School and has served on the United Way San Antonio, Leadership Columbia, and Women’s Leadership Council. She enjoys her involvement with numerous special committees for fundraising and volunteerism focused on education and community engagement.
