Rukshan Dangalla has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Rukshan started their career as a Freelance Developer at "We are designers" in 2011, where they designed and developed booking systems, responsive web designs, and mobile-friendly websites using PHP and front-end technologies. Rukshan also worked as a Flash Game Developer in the same company, creating engaging games using ActionScript 3.0.

After their freelance work, Rukshan joined Microsoft as a Student Ambassador from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they worked at Virtusa as an Engineer - Technology and later as a Senior Engineer - Technology from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Rukshan joined 99X Technology as a Senior Software Engineer and later became an Associate Tech Lead. In 2017, they joined LB Finance PLC as a Tech Lead and then became a Senior Tech Lead from 2021 to 2022.

Rukshan's next role was as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Moratuwa from 2020 to 2022. Rukshan then worked at Pearson as a Principal Software Engineer from June 2022 to October 2022.

Currently, Rukshan is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Marsello, starting in November 2022.

Rukshan Dangalla attended the University of Moratuwa from 2008 to 2013, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, they studied at Kegalu Vidyalaya from 2001 to 2007, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. From 1998 to 2000, they attended Vidyartha Vidyalaya, again without any mention of a degree or field of study.

In terms of additional certifications, Rukshan Dangalla obtained several from Microsoft. In May 2014, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Microsoft® Certified Solutions Associate: Web Applications Charter Member. In April 2014, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3. More recently, in February 2021, they achieved the certification of Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
