Theresa Lyons has extensive work experience in strategic planning, account management, and marketing execution. Theresa began their career at Marketing Force in 1989, where they managed marketing projects for clients such as Kraft Foods, Dannon Yogurt, and Frito Lay. In 1995, they joined MARS as an Account Manager, handling the development and implementation of retail consumer marketing programs for Nestlé PetCare brands. Theresa then moved on to become the VP/Account Director at The Mars Agency in 1997, taking charge of annual brand promotion and shopper marketing plans. In 2005, Theresa assumed the role of Strategic Planning at The Mars Agency, where they analyzed consumer behavior and developed strategies to achieve client objectives. Theresa eventually rose to the position of SVP Strategic Planning in 2012, overseeing the agencies' planning team and driving growth opportunities for clients. Theresa's work experience demonstrates their expertise in driving shopper insights, developing strategies, and collaborating with clients and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
Theresa Lyons holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Wayne State University, which they completed in 1993. Theresa also obtained a BBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan - Flint, graduating between 1986 and 1989. Additionally, Theresa has received certifications as a Connected Commerce Leader Level I and Level 2 from The Mars Agency in 2022.
