Laurie Savidge has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Community Relations & Corporate Philanthropy at Marriott Vacations Worldwide since September 2007. Prior roles at the company include Director of Operations, Senior Manager of Talent Management for the East Region, Food and Beverage Manager, Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Desk Manager, and Assistant Front Desk Manager. Laurie also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Instructor for HRTM 260 Lodging Management at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort from January 2009 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as Guest Care Manager at Marriott International and Editorial Assistant at the University of South Carolina, alongside a summer internship at Biltmore. Laurie holds a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina.
