Simon Mason has a robust professional background in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Director of Tax, Entity Management & Shared Services for EMEA at Marriott International since October 2014. In this role, Simon leads the Entity Reporting team, overseeing the preparation of financial statements and acting as the audit contact for over 20 entities across Central Europe. Prior to this, Simon held various managerial positions within Marriott, including Senior Manager of Entity Reporting and Project Accounting. Earlier experience includes roles as an Audit Senior at both BDO AG and BDO LLP, where Simon specialized in audit for a diverse portfolio of clients. Simon holds an ACA from Kaplan Financial College and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from Bournemouth University. Additionally, Simon engaged in volunteer work with the PDSA.
