Nina Hamersma - van het Spijker is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Luxury Brands for Middle East & Africa at Marriott International since September 2024, overseeing brands including The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis. Prior to this role, Nina held the position of Director of Brand Marketing at The Set Collection from December 2021 to September 2024, and has a strong background in marketing and public relations at the Conservatorium hotel, where contributions included roles such as Head of Marketing and Communications Manager from August 2013 to March 2022. Nina began a career in hospitality at Marriott Hotels in 2010. Educational qualifications include an ongoing program at Hotelschool The Hague and a BBA in Hospitality Administration from the same institution, along with studies at Cornell University. Additionally, Nina served as the Alumni Chapter Head for Dubai at Hotelschool The Hague.
