Kyung Soo Carroll is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prestigious hotel and resort brands. Currently serving as the Executive Chef and Director of Culinary at Marriott International's The Resort at Pelican Hill since July 2024, Kyung Soo previously held the position of Director of Culinary Operations at The Resort at Pelican Hill from August 2020 to July 2024. Additional experience includes positions as Executive Chef at Fashion Island Hotel and Marriott Hotels, and Regional Executive Chef for Google at Bon Appétit Management Company. Earlier roles comprise Executive Chef at Hilton Worldwide and Complex Executive Chef at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kyung Soo began a culinary career at the Grand Hyatt Washington and has also obtained an Associates degree in Culinary from Johnson & Wales University.
