Sharon Smith is an experienced professional with over sixteen years dedicated to supporting male and female offenders in the North West. Currently serving as the Assisted Community Engagement Project Manager at Caritas Care Ltd since February 2008, Sharon manages staff and volunteers to aid individuals transitioning from prison. Additionally, since 2014, Sharon has been a member of the Suitability Panel at the University of Central Lancashire, contributing to the evaluation of prospective Social Work students. Sharon has also volunteered as a Professional Counsellor for Marriage Care since May 2003, utilizing both the Person Centred Model and Integrative Approach in practice. Prior experience includes coordinating support programs for families of offenders at the Diocese of Blackburn and working as the Progress2workLinkUP Coordinator at MBW Training Services. Sharon received education from the University of Central Lancashire between 2001 and 2004.
