Richard Drury is an experienced sales leader with a strong focus on the payment industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Sales at Marqeta, Richard heads the commercial team for the UK and Europe while being part of the Senior Leadership Team for Europe. Prior to Marqeta, Richard held the position of VP of Global Partnerships at Volt.io, where the emphasis was on leveraging Open Banking for real-time payment innovations. Richard has also served as Business Development Director of e-Commerce & Fraud at ACI Worldwide, where support was provided to enterprise businesses in optimizing payment strategies. Richard's extensive experience at Barclaycard included several VP roles, focusing on account development and team leadership. Richard's career began at Adecco Group as a Contractor Support Executive. Richard holds a degree in Information Management and Business Studies from Loughborough University.
