Eli Malone-Shkurkin is a Senior Engineering Manager at Marqeta, Inc. since December 2017, overseeing the Disputes Management product and leading engineering teams responsible for Marqeta's core application features. Notable achievements include transitioning the frontend tech stack to fullstack JavaScript and spearheading a multi-year initiative to unify application experiences into Marqeta Dashboard. Previous roles include Lead Software Engineer at Azalea Boutique, where Eli launched e-commerce operations and developed a multichannel inventory management system, as well as founding e&e web solutions, providing WordPress development for numerous clients. Eli has a diverse background in music as a musical director and bass player, having worked with prominent industry projects and recording studios. Eli earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from UCLA.
