Vasco Sarmento has a diverse work experience in the areas of project management, strategy consulting, financial planning, and customer insights. Vasco currently holds the position of Head of SSC & Business Transformation at Marley Spoon, a role they began in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Marley Spoon as a Senior Manager Customer Insights from September 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Marley Spoon, Vasco worked at NOS SGPS, where they served as the Project Management Lead (B2B CX) from August 2018 to August 2021.

Vasco'scareer began at Deloitte Portugal in 2013, where they held various roles in strategy and operations consulting. Vasco started as an Analyst Strategy & Operations in July 2013 and later progressed to Consultant Strategy & Operations from September 2014 to August 2016. At Deloitte, they also worked as a Senior Consultant Strategy & Operations from September 2016 to August 2018.

Vasco's earlier work experience includes a role as a Financial Planning Analyst at Viabiliti - Financial Management, Lda. from January 2011 to June 2013. Vasco also gained internship experience as an Internship Trainee at Grupo Conceito from June 2010 to December 2010.

Vasco Sarmento has a strong education background in the field of management and business administration. Vasco obtained their Bachelor's degree from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. As part of their academic journey, Vasco also had the opportunity to participate in an exchange semester at the BI Norwegian Business School in 2009-2010, focusing on strategy, international marketing, and business management.

Prior to their university studies, Vasco attended the Instituto Español de Lisboa, Giner de los Rios from 2002 to 2007, where they completed their high school education with a major in economics.

In addition to their formal education, Vasco has pursued further certifications to enhance their professional skills. Notably, they obtained certifications in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in March 2021, Business Analytics from LinkedIn in June 2020, and Service Experience Design from Wingman in September 2019. These additional certifications demonstrate Vasco's commitment to continuing education and staying updated in the field of business and management.
