Jure Mlakar currently serves as Sales Director at Marles since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jure held the position of Managing Director at LAB INTERIOR from March 2014 to April 2024, overseeing one of the world's leading producers of Laboratory Furniture as part of MIKRO+POLO GROUP. Jure's experience also includes a tenure at Essilor, where from April 2009 to February 2014, responsibilities included business development across Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria, as well as managing operations in three countries and handling financial results and strategic planning. Jure started the journey at Essilor Slovenia as Managing Director from July 2006 to March 2009, focusing on defining company strategy, commercial policy, marketing plans, and organizational structure. Educational background includes a degree in Management from Univerza v Mariboru and additional studies at Cotrugli.
