Dominik Kaunert started their work experience in 2008 with an apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician at ZF Group. Dominik then worked as a Student Assistant in the Global Aftermarket at Robert Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they had an internship in the development of new materials at the University of Newcastle. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Bachelor's Thesis Student at Robert Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH. Dominik then worked as a Strategic Development Student Assistant at Saldik Transporte & Services from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they worked as a Working Student at Siemens. From 2018 to 2021, Dominik worked as a Consultant at UNITY. Currently, they hold the position of Business Development Manager at MARKT-PILOT since May 2021, and a Senior Customer Success Manager since January 2023.

From 2016 to 2018, Dominik attended FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.

Prior to that, they attended Aalen University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen.
