Dan Wilson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Dan began their career in 2000 as an Area Sales Representative at 3Com, where they worked with major clients such as Dell, CDW, and Insight. Dan then transitioned into a commercial territory in Indiana and Michigan, selling directly and indirectly through local VARS. Dan also held the role of Federal Rep, selling directly to Federal Agencies and working with Federal VARs and Solution Integrators. In 2004, they joined HP as the HP Federal Inside Sales Account Manager, where they managed various government accounts and coordinated the E-rate program for HP Networking. Dan subsequently became the HP Networking Sales Manager, overseeing a team and managing areas such as pricing, deal registration, and pipeline management. Dan also served as the HP Sales and Marketing Program Manager, responsible for managing the Deal Registration Program. In 2013, they became the Director of Corporate Sales at MarketStar, where they owned the P&L of their organization and managed a team of account executives. In 2015, they were promoted to the role of Director of Sales Operations. Finally, in 2018, they joined Five9 as an Enterprise Program Manager.
Dan Wilson has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration from the University of Utah, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended North Sevier High School from 1984 to 1988, where they studied Agriculture, General. In 2014, they attended Brigham Young University for a brief period to study Six Sigma Black Belt, but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, in the future, they plan to obtain a certification in "Project Management Foundations: Lessons Learned" from LinkedIn in 2023.
