Michael Cullen has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Michael currently works at MarketAxess as a member of the Open Trading team. Prior to this, they worked at 280 CapMarkets as a Managing Director from February 2018 to December 2019.

In 2015, Michael held multiple roles. Michael was a Rates/Credit Trading Portfolio Manager at Maybank, where they actively managed a trading portfolio consisting of Cash, Investment Grade Credit, and Sovereign Debt. Michael utilized their strong financial modeling skills to predict movements in Fixed Income asset classes. Michael also worked as a Vice President at Hapoalim Securities USA, Inc. during this time.

From January 2012 to June 2012, Michael worked at Prince Ridge Group, LLC as a Vice President and Executive Director. Michael then joined Wall Street Access in May 2006 and held the positions of Vice President, Senior Credit Trader, and Vice President/Senior Trader. In these roles, they collaborated with various stakeholders to execute daily trades and specialized in trading real estate investment trusts (REITS), particularly in telecom media and technology.

Before joining Wall Street Access, Michael was a Vice President, Senior Corporate Bond Trader at Sanders, Morris, Harris Group from January 2005 to January 2006. Prior to that, they worked at Piper Jaffray Companies as a Managing Director in the investment grade Corporate Bond/Credit Trading Department from January 2004 to November 2005. In this role, they managed a trading desk and executed numerous trades per day, focusing on auto, telecom media, and retail sectors.

Michael's career began at Mellon Financial Corporation in August 2001, where they held the role of Vice President, Senior Corporate Bond Trader. Michael provided liquidity to institutional clients and traded various investment-grade corporate bonds, with a particular focus on telecom media and European banks.
