Frank Zhou

Developer/architect For Automated Trading at MarketAxess

Frank Zhou has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Frank is currently working at MarketAxess as a Developer/Architect, specializing in Automated Trading. Frank started this role in September 2022. Prior to this, they held several positions at MarketAxess, including Developer/Architect for Trading System Resiliency, Rates Trading, Index/Portfolio Trading, and Fixed-Income E-Trading APIs. Frank joined MarketAxess in September 2007 and remained with the company until July 2019.

Frank Zhou has a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, obtained in 1999. Frank also holds a Certificate in Leadership Essentials and a Certificate in Management Essentials from Harvard Business School Publishing. In addition, Frank has a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Intelligent Vehicle-Highway Systems from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School. Prior to their Ph.D., they earned an M.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science & Technology. Frank also has a combined B.S. & M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in September 2019.
