Chia-Hsing (Gary) Li, Ph.D. serves as the Head of Regulatory Affairs for MarketAxess in the EMEA and APAC regions since April 2023, while also fulfilling a role as a member of the UK Secondary Markets Advisory Committee for the Financial Conduct Authority since June 2024. Previously, Chia-Hsing held significant positions such as CWG member of the ESMA Secondary Markets Standing Committee and Head of Regulatory Affairs at Saxo Bank. Chia-Hsing's extensive background in regulatory affairs encompasses roles from regulatory consultancy to senior legal positions in various organizations, supported by a robust academic foundation with multiple law degrees, including a Ph.D. from The University of Edinburgh.
