Xavier Diaz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and finance management. Currently serving as Procurement Manager at Hippo Insurance since November 2021, Xavier is responsible for managing the P2P process and coordinating efforts among finance, vendors, and business groups. Prior to this role, Xavier worked at Cisco for over 14 years, holding various positions including Finance Manager in Global Credit & Risk Management Operations, where significant savings of $900K were achieved through vendor negotiations, and Strategic Account Manager, focusing on optimizing account management processes. Additionally, Xavier served as Partner Operations Relationship Manager, where innovative finance partnering processes were developed to enhance profitability and reduce transaction closing times. Xavier holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California Santa Cruz.
