Roger Grosser has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1981, they worked as a Trade Broker for Barter Corp until 1986. From 1988 to 1990, they served as a Systems Analyst/Programmer at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Center, where they developed medical records, payroll, and human resources software.
In 1990, Roger joined Sequoia Systems as a Sr. Systems Engineer, responsible for coordinating and supervising software installations and upgrades and training end users on system administration and maintenance. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as an Independent Consultant, providing analytical, design, and programming services on a contractual basis for various applications.
Starting in 1996, Roger served as a Professional Services Engineer at Unidata, coordinating installations of the Unidata product suite and implementing conversions of legacy systems to Unidata products. Roger then became a Sr. Business Analyst/Programmer at Goodrich Aerospace from 1998 to 2001, providing analysis, design, programming, support, and training for the DataFlo ERP application.
In 2001, Roger joined Optical Datacom as a Systems Analyst, where they provided support, training, administration, and maintenance for Best Software MAS200 ERP/Accounting software and implemented projects such as EDI, e-commerce, and bar coding. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Software Engineer at Capitol Commerce Mortgage, analyzing, designing, programming, supporting, and training for OPS mortgage software.
From 2003 to 2007, Roger served as a Sr. Software Engineer at Sierra Pacific Mortgage, providing analysis, design, programming, support, and training for OPS loan origination software, as well as performing system maintenance, backups, and restores. Finally, they joined Market America, Inc. in 2007 as an IT Engineer, responsible for developing back-end applications in UniVerse programming language and interfacing with Redback methods and Coldfusion front-end applications.
Throughout their career, Roger has actively participated in the Software Development Life Cycle, collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and application architects to develop requirements, test plans, and application deployments and implementations.
Roger Grosser attended York Community High School where they obtained their General Education Development (GED) diploma in General Studies. After completing high school, they enrolled in Colorado Technical University, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Information Technology Management. The duration of their enrollment at Colorado Technical University was from 2000 to 2001.
