Marquita Auffenberg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marquita started their career as a Landscape Architect at Benedict Sutherland Dusterberg from 1983 to 1985. Marquita then worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch from 1987 to 1988 and later at Stifel Nicolaus in 1988. In 2004, they joined Bank of America as a Registered Marketing Assistant. From 2006 to 2009, Marquita worked as a Wardrobe Consultant at Doncaster Extraordinary Clothing for Extraordinary Women.

In 2009, Marquita transitioned into the online retail industry, working for companies like Market America and NutraMetrix. At Market America, they were involved in team building, sales, marketing, and presentations, primarily focusing on product brokerage. Marquita also served as a Shop.com Business Consultant at NutraMetrix during the same period.

Marquita ventured into the financial services sector again in 2012, joining Wells Fargo Advisors. Here, they held multiple roles, including Registered Client Associate, Regional Supervisor 1 in the Field Services Control Group, and Trading Service Representative. As a Registered Client Associate, they provided remote support for multiple financial advisors, establishing efficient working relationships and assisting with administrative responsibilities. In the role of a Regional Supervisor 1, they supported channels by ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and regulations. Additionally, they served as a Trading Service Representative, executing and confirming securities transactions and providing customer service.

Most recently, Marquita joined Laura McCarthy Realtors in 2021 as a Real Estate Agent.

Marquita Auffenberg's education history includes ongoing courses in Personal and Professional Coaching and Development at the University of Virginia since 2018. In 1969, they completed high school at Villa Duchesne, where they studied Liberal Arts. From 1992 to 2011, Marquita attended Landmark and pursued a curriculum known as Curriculum for Living, focusing on Breakthrough Technology. Additionally, from 1973 to 1978, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia. Lastly, Marquita continued their education at Landmark from 1992 to 2033, participating in the Curriculum for Living, Wisdom Course, and Communication Courses, emphasizing self-awareness and personal assessment.
