Haywood Perry III serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Whitman-Walker since March 2022, actively participating in various committees including Finance and Quality Assurance. As an investor with Mark Cuban Companies and the founder and managing director of H19 Ventures, Haywood advises early-stage, underrepresented minority-owned ventures and has contributed to social impact initiatives, notably leading audience engagement for AfroTech 2019’s Social Impact conference. Previous roles include President of the DC Community Board at The Gathering Spot, Summer Associate at SoftBank Group, and Investment Partner at Dorm Room Fund. Haywood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale University, and Executive Education in Venture Capital from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law.
