Carrie Hanichak has extensive work experience in various roles within the travel and events industry. Carrie began their career in 2003 as a Sales Manager at Anheuser-Busch before transitioning to the Manor Vail Lodge in 2006 as a Sales and Conference Service Manager. In 2007, they joined Maritz Travel as a Travel Director and later became a Sr. Project Manager, overseeing large events and managing project teams. From 2014 to 2015, Carrie worked as a Travel Account Manager, responsible for managing key accounts and leading project teams. Carrie then served as the Sr. Director of Operations, Event Management at Maritz Travel from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Carrie moved into the role of Operations Forecast Manager and later became the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, responsible for budgeting and forecasting. Most recently, they joined Maritz Motivation in 2021 as the Director of Transformation and was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Strategy in September 2022.
Carrie Hanichak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Philosophy from Saint Louis University. Carrie attended Nerinx Hall High School prior to their university studies. Currently, Carrie is pursuing an Executive MBA at Washington University in St. Louis, which they are expected to complete between 2022 and 2024. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Incentive Specialists from SITE, Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
