Rupen Patel has worked in a variety of roles over the past 19 years. In 2002, they began their career as a Teacher at Paramus Public Schools. In 2005, they moved to Merck as a Programmer. In 2007, they became a Software Developer at Agamas Capital Management. In 2009, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Softagon. In 2011, they took on two roles: Manager at Pariveda Solutions and VP - Software Engineer Lead at Guggenheim Partners. In 2014, they were appointed Head of Portfolio Management Technology and Senior Software Developer at Maritime Capital, LLC. In 2021, they were promoted to Product Manager at Mistico Services LLC, a subsidiary of Maritime Capital LLC.

Rupen Patel graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Math.
