Sara C. has extensive experience in health education and emergency preparedness, serving as Health Educator 3 - Program Coordinator at Marion County Health Department since December 2007. Key achievements include founding the Marion County Health System Preparedness Coalition, coordinating significant emergency preparedness projects, and overseeing the implementation of regulatory requirements and compliance initiatives. Sara has facilitated multiple exercises, maintained emergency response readiness, and directed the work of interns while also representing the health department at community meetings. Prior to this role, Sara worked as a Private Consultant for the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center and held various health educator positions focusing on emergency preparedness. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communications from Western Oregon University.
