Bo Lacy, CGCS has extensive work experience in the golf industry. Bo began their career as a Business Operations Manager at Lacy Farm Enterprises in 1989, where they handled day-to-day operations and safely stored grass seed. From 2002 to 2003, Bo worked as a Greenkeeper at Circling Raven Golf Club, where they trained personnel and operated mowers. Bo then moved on to Waverley Country Club in 2004 as a Spray Technician, assisting in course construction and performing chemical applications. In 2005, Bo joined Persimmon Country Club as an Assistant Superintendent, supervising staff and assisting in construction projects. Bo then became the Golf Course Superintendent at Zintel Creek Golf Club in 2006, where they made continuous improvements to the course and facility and successfully negotiated contracts. In 2016, Bo joined Barenbrug USA as the Professional Turf Product Manager, later becoming the Director of Production and Seed Supply Chain, and eventually the Vice President of Operations. Most recently, in 2023, Bo assumed the role of Director of Operations at Marion Ag Service, Inc.

Bo Lacy, CGCS has a strong educational background in turfgrass management and business administration. From 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Turfgrass Management from Penn State University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from George Fox University between 1997 and 2000. Bo also attended Whitworth University in 1996 and 1997 for undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, Bo Lacy has received certifications such as the Leadership Development Program from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2022 and the Certified Golf Course Superintendent certification from GCSAA in 2012.
