Henri Vaitkevicius has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Henri currently holds the role of Vice President Clinical Development at Marinus Pharma since October 2020. Prior to this, Henri worked as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School from July 2017 to September 2020, and as an Instructor from July 2013 to June 2017. Henri also served as an Attending Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital from July 2013 to September 2020. Earlier in their career, Henri worked as a Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2008 to 2013. Henri started their career in 2001 as an Associate Research Scientist at Pfizer, focusing on neurodegenerative disorders and inflammatory mediators. Before that, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Wayne State University from 1996 to 2001.

Henri Vaitkevicius completed their education at Wayne State University. Henri earned a Bachelor's Degree in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry in 1996. Henri then pursued a Master's Degree in physiology with an emphasis in molecular biology and graduated in 1999. Continuing their education, Henri completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in the field of Neuroscience in 2007. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Neurocritical Care from UCNS Ltd in 2013 and is also Board Certified in Neurology by ABPN since 2011.
